Hi everyone. Today was the first day we could eat outside. Yay. No wind or snow flurries. We went into Minneapolis to visit our friend Bill. He owns Pioneer rim and wheel. Bill is the man who helped Cmor get his new shoes. When we drove up, he came out and said here is Don and Donna from California. He forgot to say and Junior. He took us inside and gave us a tour of his big factory. He told me to take lots of pictures. after the tour we went into his office and did a lot of talking. He gave us new hats but I think mine is a little big. Bill and his family are going to visit us in California. When we left, he said "goodbye Junior".
We crossed the river to see the Capitol building. It was covered with canvas and scaffolding. After walking almost all the way around it, we discovered it was also being remodeled inside and there was nobody home. We went into the courthouse and the huge law library. I saw a book on the free shelf with the name Mankiller on it. When I pulled it out, it was written by my Friend Pat's Aunt in law. She was Wilma Mankiller, The first woman Chief of the Cherokees. The law librarian gave me the book. Now I am going to tease my friend Charles Mankiller and ask him to autograph it for me. We went to The Cathedral of St. Paul next. I don't think I have ever been in such a big Church. I was more comfortable looking at the miniature. My people said some prayers for family, friends and a safe journey.
We went next to aspecial McDonalds for ice cream. It was decorated like a diner . I danced with Elvis and the Blues Brothers. We sat at a table that made my man laugh. Then I sat at a coke table with my water. It is hot work dancing. Here at out next camp, we just finished our showers and were eating dinner when it started raining. We are getting all kinds of weather on this trip. Hugs to all from Jr.
