Another day

Good morning from Junior. I am going to see the home of our President. Maybe he will see me hanging on the fence and invite me in. Wouldn't that be exciting. I bet the kids at school would like that. Yesterday we accomplished our goal. We arrived in camp with plenty of rest time to eat and play some games before bed. We got tickets for the shuttle down to Washington D.C. Trying to write this before we have to leave. Yesterday, we crossed the Mason Dixon Line and the Eastern Continental Divide. We went to the visitors center and Museum in Cumberland and learned more about the C and O Canals. I am still fascinated by how the locks work. I remember the Erie Canal song from way back in the old days. Donna keeps singing it to Don and I think he is getting a little tired of it. It starts out, I got a mule her name is Sal, fifteen miles on the Erie Canal. Any one remember that? Cmor surprised us by turning off the road to Clear Creek without being asked. It was a special treat to see Four Locks. Also saw the canal quarters that can now be rented. Wouldn't that be fun? Checked off another item from our bucket list at the Carrol Street Bridge. Had pictures of this for years. Finally got to see it. All the blocks and designs are on plain concrete. The two fairy pics are anamorphic art. Look it up. What a great Artist. It is in Frederick if anyone wants to look it up too.

Hard to tell what is real. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures. I am off to the shuttle. hugs, Junior
