Hi everyone. I am a very tired monkey right now so this will be quick. I am writing to Drew's school too so all of you get the leftovers because the kids are very special. Cmor enjoyed discovering the speed limit here is 80 MPH for him. Very quickly he got us to Mountain Home and the penny Mural. I was sorry I had no glue to add my name to the wall. Cmor then took us to the Bruneau San Dunes. My people were here many years ago, dragging a sand buggy behind them to play on the dunes. That is not legal anymore but people can rent snow boards to "ski" down the dunes. The sand was too hot for my little feet so just had a short hike. Also saw the observatory that was there. We had lunch next to the water at Glenns Ferry and 3 island crossing on the Oregon Trail. Next on to the Malad Gorge State Park. Very scary. The waterfall was right under the Hwy. It was 250 feet deep but very narrow. Most people driving by would not even know it was there. The scariest part was the edge of the Gorge. No railings and Donna had to stand near the edge to take a picture of Don on the bridge. I told her I was very good at climbing around and could take the picture but she wouldn't trust me with her new camera.
We next went to Twin Falls so Cmor could drive across the Perrine Bridge and I walked across. It is a long way down to the Snake River. 500 feet to the golf course below. On the other side Don shook hands with Mr. Perrine. Seems like a nice man but a little stiff.
we were right near where Evel Knievel tried to jump the river on a rocket powered Harley. On take off one of his parachutes opened by mistake and he floated down to land safely. Brave but not too bright. Over his lifetime he broke almost everyone of his bones.
Our next stop was The Shoshone Falls. Higher than Niagara Falls. Not a lot of water in them right now but still very beautiful. Walked around awhile and then on to our home for the night. So here I am in Jerome, yawning and wrapping my tail around one last bite of banana and then off to bed. Good night to all from Jr.
