Tucumcari to Santa Fe

i am not a happy monkey. I just watched the Warrior game. It is a good thing I had a good day here. I loveall the old signs and buildings. I wonder what I will do with all these pictures? I have so many that I haven't even shared. We went to the Blue Swallow . Each of the rooms has it's owm garage. They used to make a big deal about  people being able to drive inside and shut the door for complete privacy. Our directions warned of a tight turn in a narrow, one lane low tunnel. Cmor was not worried. He said he could always turn around. What a good driver he is. We went again to see the beautiful blue hole. It has been almost 25 years since we were here and it is just as spectacular to see. I kept thinking my Friends Bryan and Melissa would like to dive here. It is very clear and such a beautiful color. We went up into the mountains on 66/84 to Santa Fe. I got to see one of my favorite places again. The Loretto Chaple and the Miraculous stairway. I love to look at it and wonder who really built it and how. No one knows how it stays up. Just imagine what it was like before they added railings. We walked around the beautiful colorful town and had lunch. Mexican food of course. When we went into the very large Basilica, there was a group of young people singing with their Choir master. They were very food. We got to sit and rest Nd listen to them. It was very hot and yet we could see snow on some peaks. Lots of art to see. We went to see the oldest Church location in the United States Nd then almost nextdoor to see the oldest house structure in the US. Almost right next door. Boy those Adobe and brick walls are thick. Nice and cool inside. we followed 66/25 down the mountains to Albuquerque to spend the night. We can see the smoke from the fires here in New Mexico. We are saying prayers for the poor people that are beding evacuated and for the fire fighters. Prayerfully, there will be good news in the morni g. Hugs to all from Junior and friends.
